Behind The Scenes Writing Tag!

Hey guys! I was tagged by the awesome Raychel Rose to participate in her Behind The Scenes Writing Tag! Thanks, Raychel! (You can check out her fantastic post here).
This tag is awesome, and I'm super excited to be a part of it! So here goes nothing.

Questions:

1. Is there a certain snack you like to eat while writing? Two words: Starburst. Minis. Oh gosh, I'm obsessed. They're like tiny little bite-sized bursts of happiness.
2. When do you normally write? Night, afternoon, or morning? It really depends on how busy I am on that particular day, but usually I am a late afternoon/evening writer. Sometimes I write late at night and then hate myself for it in the morning.
3. Where do you write? Usually in my bedroom, either at my desk or on my floor. Sometimes I'll hang out at the library on campus or go to Starbucks and put my headphones on.
4. How often do you write a new novel? Honestly, I haven't written a new novel in a while. I mean, I get ideas for them constantly, but I don't have a set schedule for writing new novels yet. I should probably work on that.
5. Do you listen to music while you write? Sometimes, but usually I listen to instrumental versions, scores, white noise, or rain (yes, I know I'm weird.) If the music has lyrics, I'll more than likely get super distracted and not write a thing.
6. What do you write on? Laptop or paper? Laptop! Lenovo IdeaPad S510p Touch. This thing is my baby.
7. Is there a special ritual you have before or after you write? Not really, actually. Usually I just sit down an type.
8. What do you do to get in the mood to write? Listen to my writing playlist on my phone, take a drive, or go to school. When I'm bored in class, I want nothing more than to write!
9. What is always near the place you write? Water, a calendar, a notebook and pencil, and my writing binder, which is full of all sorts of references and helpful writing tips.
10. Do you have a reward system for your word count? Now that I think about it, no! I really ought to start rewarding myself. Usually when I reach my word count, my reward is getting to go to bed.
11. Is there anything about your writing process that others might not know about? I do things very, very out of order. Usually my ending is written before my beginning and my middle scenes are written before anything. I also don't usually name my characters based on the meaning of the name. When a new character pops into my head, they introduce themselves and tell me their name, and I just roll with it.

And there you have it! Now I get to tag some awesome people to answer these questions!
I tag...
